Two Years Waiting… Now Forever Home Bound
Some journeys take a little longer, and Bear’s was one of them. After patiently waiting
two whole years for her perfect match, thousands of you saw her appeal in October,
and because of your kindness, visibility, and belief in her, Bear has finally found her
forever family!
Bear is settling into her new home, where
she is already deeply loved by her family,
including her new human sister, who has
become her very special companion. Bear
has chosen her bedroom as her nighttime
safe place but never misses a chance to
wander out for cuddles and sleepy
hallway greetings if anyone is up during
the night.
She’s discovering a whole new world
through walks filled with exciting sights
and sounds. Even though traffic is new
and unfamiliar, she’s learning quickly and
already moving to the verge when she
hears vehicles, what a clever girl! Bear
has also been enjoying her playtime,
especially in the garden where her
favourite ball is never far away.
Her eating routine is improving too, as her
new family found the perfect food that
encourages her to eat more slowly and
comfortably.
Like many dogs discovering love and
stability in a new home, Bear has shown
some separation anxiety. She worried
when her dad returned to work for the
first time, but with gentle reassurance,
distraction, and routine, she settled
again. She is already forming deep bonds,
a beautiful sign of trust.
After two years of hoping, Bear finally has
everything she waited for!
