DAWGS
Welcome to the Spring/Summer edition
of the Daily Tail, a space where we
celebrate the resilience, joy, and second
chances of the dogs who pass through
our doors, and the extraordinary
community that makes our work
possible.
DAWGS remains committed to ensuring
that every dog no matter their age,
background, or circumstances has the
opportunity to find a safe and loving
home. In recent months, we’ve
welcomed dogs from across the
Northeast and beyond, each arriving
with their own story. Thanks to the
dedication of our staff, volunteers,
foster families, and supporters, so many
of these dogs are now beginning
wonderful new chapters. Their stories,
some of which are featured in this
magazine, are a testament to what
compassion and kindness can achieve.
This edition of The Daily Tail shines a
light not only on these happy endings,
but also on the help our Welfare Fund
provides, and day-to-day dedication that
makes rehoming possible.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to share
details
of
several
upcoming
fundraising events that play a vital role
in sustaining our work. From our
participation in the Big Doggy Day Out,
to our return to the Aberdeen Highland
Games, and our brand new DAWGS
Virtual Dog Show, there are lots of
opportunities to get involved. These
events bring our community together,
raise crucial funds, and most
importantly help more dogs find the
futures they deserve. We hope you’ll
join us, bring friends, or simply help
spread the word.
As always, the support we receive
from
both
individuals
and
organisations continues to amaze us.
Every donation, like, share, or kind
word contributes to the safety net
DAWGS provides for dogs and the
people who care about them.
Whether you’ve been part of the
DAWGS family for years or are picking
up The Daily Tail for the first time, we
